DIY: Cute Summer Shirts!

Summer has arrived which means it’s time to change up our wardrobe and get ready for the hotter days that are coming our way! The only tough part is having the money to spend on this new wardrobe. How can we beat this system every season? The answer is DIY! There are so many cute DIY ideas on how to turn your old shirts, dresses etc. and turn them into the cutest tops for summer! This not only saves you tons of money but it will also have you looking cuter than ever this summer! So save that summer money on actual activities and vacations this summer and jump on our amazing DIY ideas for cute summer tops!

Looking for a cute halter top without the expensive price tag? This DIY halter top is a great idea for you to try out! All you need is a t-shirt and a pair of scissors to achieve this look. First, draw an outline like in the photo on the top right photo and follow the rest of the instructions through the rest of the collage and you’ll be done in no time!

Looking for cute way to change up or boring tops? Well this DIY razor back idea is great for you to try out! All you need is a fitted t-shirt and some scissors to achieve this look. First, cut out the neckline and then snip away strands on the backside of the t-shit (as seen in the photo). Once that is done, follow the rest of the instructions in the collage and you’ll be done in no time!

This cute halter top can easily be achieved with a t-shirt and a pair of scissors! First, cut off the neckline, sleeves and the bottom line of the t-shirt. Then, use the strand that you cut off the bottom of the t-shirt and use it to tie the back if the halter top together! To finish off the look, cut a little more off the bottom of the top!

This cute fringe top is an amazing DIY idea to try this summer! Not only will it save you a trip to the mall and some extra cash but it’ll also have you looking cuter than ever this summer! All you need is a fitted t-shirt and a pair of scissors to achieve this look! First, cut up and down the bottom half of the shirt. Second, knot the top of the strands (as seen in the bottom left photo). Third, cross over the strands and knot them again. Also, don’t forget to knot the bottom of each strand to finish off the look!

This DIY top is great to make for this summer’s 4th of July! All you’ll need is a white t-shirt, blue & red spray paint, star stickers, masking tap e and scissors! First, cut off the neckline, sleeves and bottom half of the t-shirt (leave two strands at the bottom as seen in the upper right photo). Follow the rest of instructions to achieve the American Flag print on the shirt and you’ll be done in no time!
