To Cleanse or Not to Cleanse?

Guys, a little #Mondaymotivation! Wellness and the act of coming to a good healthy balance is a hot topic when it comes to mind, body and spirit. When you’re feeling like you need to reset and detox from all of the junk that you consume on a daily basis, and lbh weekend cravings (doughnuts and coffee anyone?), a cleanse is one of your best bets. Depending on your personal goals, and the length of time you want to dedicate to getting your body chakras aligned, there is something out there for you. Maybe you just want to inject a little bit of  wellness into your daily routine? Or you’re wanting to feel light, aka no bloating? We’ve put together a few quick ideas to get you started!

Water! Water! Water! Drinking 8-10 (8 ounces) glasses of water each day is an age-old remedy to help flush out toxins and give a natural, dewy glow.

Amp up your water by adding lemons first thing in the morning. Not only will your body enjoy an extra boost of vitamin C, but it helps your digestive track as well!

Do yourself a favor and put that fork down. It’s not about starving yourself! But, eating after 7pm has been known to slow down metabolism. Eating dinner beforehand will help in digestion.03_horizontal

Speaking of dinner, end your night with chamomile tea. Not only does it aid insomnia, but it also helps to break down that last meal you had (before 7pm!).
