Red Carpet Rundown of the 2015 Grammy Awards

The red carpet was packed with music’s biggest stars on Sunday night at the 57th Annual Grammy Awards in Los Angeles, CA. In comparison to other Hollywood red carpets, while the fashion and glam are out in full force, celebs have the chance of being more relaxed and be a bit more playful with their fashion choices. From country cuties to powerhouse pop-stars, here’s our guide to to who wore what on the red carpet as they made there way into the Staples Center for the ceremony and spectacle.  Who was a hit and who was a miss?  let us know in the comments below!

Sam Smith showed up looking dapper in an Armani suit.  Rather than making it a black tie affair, he accessorized with a bright white bow tie and patent leather shoes.

  Madonna hit the red carpet as a matador in Givenchy, heavily influenced by her recent music video for “Living for Love.”  It’s the lead single off of her new album Rebel Heart, dropping next month.

 Gwen Stefani looked super cool and super chic in a funky black jumpsuit from Versace.  The custom piece fit her perfectly and with a partially sheer bodice it was the just-right amount of sexy.

Nick Jonas looked quite handsome in a grey and yellow tartan print Versace suit.  He kept the look laid-back with white sneakers and forgot the tie.

Ariana Grande showed up with her man Big Sean on her arm.  She looked radiant in a white Versace dress with metallic silver detailing.  In the hair department she kept to her go-to look of a high ponytail.

Charlie XCX went way back to the 80’s as she hit the carpet in a Moschino tux with hot pink bow tie and blush pink fur.

Jessie J looked like a vamp in a sexy black Ralph and Russo gown.  She kept is simple with a sleek black bob and a bold blood red lip.

Pharrell showed up wearing a silver suit, however when the photogs snapped shots of the “Happy” singer, the suit instantly turned bright white!


John Legend & Chrissy Teigen looked confident and classic per usual.  The figure hugging Gucci dress fit her like a glove as cut-outs made their way up and down the dress.  John wore a grey tux with black detailing, he too left his tie at home.

Katy Perry strutted the carpet in a sequin fringed Zuhair Murad dress.  It sparkled all over and complemented her lavender locks well.  She glittered from head-to-toe!

Nicki Minaj amped up the sex-factor in a skin tight Tom Ford gown.  It accentuated her curves and turned to fringe at the knees.  Paired with Giuseppe Zanotti heels and nothing but diamonds, she looked flawless!

Taylor Swift in a teal blue Elie Saab gown is pretty much everything!  The hue only made her eyes brighter and the purple heels were a playful pop of color.


Kim Kardashian wore a plunging gold glittering gown from Jean Paul Gaultier.  The long sleeve dress with a super high slit was also embellished all over making the look feel heavy.

Lady Gaga showed up in a sex silver Brandon Maxwell dress.  She added color with a pair of emerald earrings and an emerald necklace.

Jennifer Hudson looked chic in a simple white strapless dress by Tom Ford.  It hugged her curves perfectly and the purple lip and pixie cut gave her a playful edge.

Beyoncé hit the carpet in a custom Proenza Schouler black lace gown.  Her locks of long wavy hair drew attention to her sun-kissed cleavage .

Iggy Azalea wore an electric blue Armani Prive gown.  However the braid perched atop her head got lots of attention!

Miley Cyrus wore an all black Alex Vauthier dress with sexy cutouts down her side.  She kept the attention on the dress and opted for simple hair and makeup.


Ciara rocked a black layered asymmetrical gown with a gold belt at her waist.  The slicked back hair showed off her fresh face and the short hem showed off the sexy legs.

Rihanna brought the drama and stepped up the fashion game in a Giambattista Valli gown.  The look came straight off the Paris runway and had her looking like a pretty in pink princess.  The larger than life dress was layer upon layer of tulle ruffles.
