2015 Critics’ Choice Awards Red Carpet Fashion

On the heels of Sunday’s Golden Globe Awards, the 20th Annual Critics’ Choice Awards took place on Thursday night in Los Angeles, CA.  The show was hosted by Michael Strahan and took place at the Hollywood Palladium.  In typical Hollywood fashion, the red carpet (or in this case, blue) was rolled out for the stars to make their entrance.  Which celebrities brought their A-Game and who was a miss?  You tell us!

Jennifer Aniston made a statement in a blood-red Gucci tuxedo with nothing but bare skin underneath.  She paired the suit with edgy Fred Leighton jewelry.  Maybe it’s the hair, the fit, or the shade of red that’s made this a fail.  Whatever the case, something is off.  aniston

Angelina Jolie shimmered in a simply sophisticated silver Atelier Versace gown.  It featured an open-back and draping in all the right places.  She kept the hair and makeup fresh and classic; really completing the Unbroken director’s the look.

Reese Witherspoon took some fashion inspiration from her old friend Elle Woods and opted for a pink and black Lanvin dress.  However this look is missing the glam Elle would have wanted.  The only drama here was a droopy bow in the back. Yawn…

Jessica Chastain also took a fashion risk in an Asian inspired dress by Antonia Berardi.  The high slit and shoulder cut-out revealed the perfect amount of skin.  Bright berry lips and a chunky braid finished her look.

Emily Blunt stunned in a sexy red beaded Emilio Pucci dress with keyhole cut-out.  She glammed up the look with sparkling silver accessories and lightened up her hair for an effortless feel.

Mommy-to-be, Keira Knightley, showed off her baby bump just a tad bit.  Wearing an embellished, high-collared, flowing gown, you could hardly catch a glimpse of her growing tummy.  We’re still getting a granny vibe from it, similar to the Golden Globes red carpet.

Felicity Jones looked like a gothic princess in her black Dolce & Gabbana number.  It consisted of a bra and skirt combo overlaid with netted lace.
