Curls Galore

Are you tired of your straight, dull hair? When tying your hair back and blow-drying is not enough, then it’s time to give yourself a total make over. Spring and summer are the best time to try out different looks. If you haven’t got an idea of what look you want, then curls would be the safest yet sexiest hairstyle on the planet. If you’ve done this style before and got disappointed with your look, you should’ve researched more as to what kind of curls suit your face shape. Other girls may look beautiful in a specific style of curls, but these may not look good on you. Always keep your face shape and skin tone in mind when you choose the right curl for you, and from there you’ll be able to kill the look. To be precise, and to give you an idea, I’ve selected a few celebrities with curly, bouncy hair, with particular face shapes and skin tones, for your reference.
1. Elongated Face – Blake Lively has mastered the art of curls as she always carries that killer hairstyle to match her killer bod and legs. Blake Lively has an elongated face so straight hair would emphasize her already long face. Remember the rule of thumb, keep everything in balance. To soften her features, big soft curls are a must, and so is avoiding dark-colored hair. Try to steal her look; if you think blonde suits you, then why not give it a go? But if you want a safer look, soft light shades of brown will never go wrong. If you don’t have the time to style your hair everyday, you have the option to visit the salon and have it permed. To make sure that you have the same style in mind, bring a photo of the hairstyle you want copied. This type of curl suits hair types with straight or wavy hair.

2. Heart-Shaped Face- Ever wonder what type of curl to try? A classic take on the curls will surely give your look classic glam. Marilyn Monroe had a heart-shaped face and her take on curls was really sexy. Forget about long hair (!) as the short, wavy curls will give you that bombshell aura.
Who says shorter hair is not sexy? It is very sophisticated and glamorous, but be sure to stay away from dark hair color as the waves will not be that obvious. Again, opt for light shades of brown or blonde since dark hair color will make you look mature and sharp.

Feathered, chapped, or cracked lips become extremely visible as people get older, and that will look like a total disaster especially when lipstick is applied. The best way to prevent feathered lips is to exfoliate and regularly apply lip balm to help keep the lips moisturized.
4. Round Face – Bobbed curly hair looks good on people with round faces. Soft layers and soft curls framing the face look really lovely, and gives the illusion of a slim face. Take a look at Drew Barrymore’s curly style. Wouldn’t you agree that it looks so effortlessly chic.
